• We are a centre of excellence for teacher education - all our provision is rated good or very good by OFSTED
• We have been awarded £6.3m for the creation of two national Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
• In 2006 two of our academics became National Teaching Fellows of the Higher Education Academy (only 50 such awards were made nationally)
